Work VISA

Our company provides professional assistance in obtaining work visas for Poland. A work visa is mandatory for those who plan to live and work in this country for a long time. We will help you get a type D work visa, which allows you to stay and work in Poland for 6 to 12 months.
cover

A national work visa (type D) is issued by a consul of the Republic of Poland at the consulate in the applicant's country of residence — only the consul makes the decision. The basis is a work permit document obtained by the employer in Poland (zezwolenie na pracę or oświadczenie). The applicant registers the application in the e-Konsulat system, submits the documents and pays the consular fee. USPI Work and Documents helps prepare and check the document package, fill in the application and book the submission; we do not influence the consul's decision and do not guarantee a visa.

What USPI Work and Documents does

Advises on the document set for your case, helps fill in the e-Konsulat application, checks the package before submission and provides support through the process. The work permit document is obtained by the employer. These are consulting and organisational services.

What the consulate decides

The consul reviews the application and decides to issue or refuse the visa. Processing times are set by the consulate; requirements may differ by country of application. The appeal procedure is set by the consulate.

Reviewed: August 2026. Check current requirements and fees on the consulate website and in e-Konsulat.

Work visa — frequently asked questions

Who issues a work visa to Poland?

The decision is made by a consul of the Republic of Poland. An intermediary does not issue visas and does not influence the consulate's decision.

Can you "buy" a work visa?

No. A visa is issued only by the consul after reviewing the documents. Offers to "buy a visa" or promises of a "100% visa" are a sign of fraud. The legal path is a permit document from the employer and an application via e-Konsulat.

How long does a work visa take?

Timelines are set by the consulate and depend on the country, season and workload. An intermediary cannot speed up the review.

What are oświadczenie and zezwolenie na pracę?

These are permit documents for employing a foreigner, obtained by the employer in Poland. The visa application is based on them.

How much does a work visa cost?

The applicant pays the consular fee at the consulate's tariff. It is not included in the intermediary's service price.
