Open welder vacancies
Below: where to find a welder job in Poland, what the open vacancies offer, accommodation, the employment contract, requirements and documents.
Where to find a welder job in Poland
Short answer: welders find jobs in Poland through a licensed employment agency, on job portals and in the public job database. An agency is the easiest route if you need accommodation and help with documents.
- An employment agency listed in the KRAZ register. USPI Work and Documents (Bydgoszcz, KRAZ 34438) is hiring MIG/MAG and TIG welders now: about 9,000–11,500 zł net per month, free accommodation from the employer and an employment contract. Candidates pay no recruitment fees. The vacancies are listed above.
- Job portals such as Pracuj.pl, OLX Praca and job aggregators. They list more ads, but you have to check accommodation and the contract type with each employer.
- The public job database oferty.praca.gov.pl with ads from district labour offices (PUP), mostly in Polish.
Before you travel, check the agency in the KRAZ register (stor.praca.gov.pl) and ask for the pay, accommodation and contract type in writing.
Welder vacancies by method
Polish employers hire welders for a specific method, usually written as its ISO 4063 number. The method decides the requirements and the pay:
- MIG/MAG welder (semi-automatic, method 135): steel structures, metal from 7 mm, about 10,000–11,000 zł net per month in Bydgoszcz.
- TIG welder (argon, method 141): stainless steel, precise welds, about 9,000–11,500 zł net per month in Bydgoszcz.
MIG (131) uses an inert gas and is common for aluminium; MAG (135) uses an active gas (CO₂ or an argon mix) and is the main method for steel. TIG (141) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and a hand-fed filler rod: slower, but the cleanest weld for stainless steel and thin metal.
